Good performance from the lads against a staines team made up mostly of there 1st team. we had a few 1st team squad members, couple of trialists, and 18 yr olds. All worked there socks off and played some good football especially 1st half but throughout. goals from victor, matt and young daniel sealed the win.

Game of two halves as we looked a cut above in the 1st half to lead 2-0, then made hard work of the 2nd allowing our london opponents to play who got back to 2-2, this woke us back up to realise we had to work for the 3pts it wasnt just going to be given to us. Wasn't the best of performances but with lots of youth involved on the night was a great learning curve.

Chertsey town win 5-3 on pens.
In a closely fought batttle Chertsey came out on top in this entertaining game, we went 1-0 down early in the 1st half but equalized before the break with a clear penalty, both sides attacked using their tricky wingers but Chertsey's full backs Billy Roach and Anson Cousins (Woking on trial) were strong and dealt with the danger very well.
In the second half, Chertsey were on the front foot and the two lads on trial being watched by Spencer Day, Rob Carr and Alex Bodean (Romania U21) were live wires throughout out wide. We scored a 2nd and looked the stronger team but one lapse in concentration let in the Burnham striker to smash home an equaliser 5 minutres from time. The penalty shootout commenced with Chertsey scoring all of theirs fantastically well and two fine saves from big Lee Pearce (Pearcey) put us through to a home tie against Harrow Borough. All the players were superb throughout. With a bit more fitness thoughout, we could be even better. Obviously with reserve football, we will never have the same side from week to week, but it is valuable for the 1st team, trialists and youth experience.
Team: Lee Pearce, Billy Roach, Anson Cousins, Jack Leighton, Ruben Aryku, Matt Powell, Alex Bodean, Demi Lawrence, Charlie Postance, Lawrence Wallis, Robb Carr. Subs: Dan Sharp, George Armstrong, Frazer Page, Jamie Galloway, Sam Hamer. Scorers-Charlie Postance & Rob Carr.
Come on you Curfews!

This was a gallant effort from the lads against a strong Harrow side. Heavy traffic on the way delayed kick off and the side were still stationary at the start as Harrow took full advantage racing to a 2-0 lead at half time. However, the lads were actually in the game from the start as, for the first half hour, there was nothing in it. Two lapses in concentration then gave away two sloppy goals.
We regrouped at half time and came out the blocks quickly. Playing higher up the field, we put the home side under pressure and we was rewarded with a penalty which Charlie Postance slotted home. We continued to press Harrow in the midfield, then with ten minutes remaining, and after a fine move, Josh Wyatt used his strength to shrug off a defender and coolly finish for the equaliser!
We kept our shape well as Borough pushed for a late winner which we though might be denied, but with a couple of minutes to go, a cross came in which should have been neutralised. The ball fell to a Harrow forward’s head and, like slow motion, the forward headed the ball towards goal. Goalkeeper George Armstrong, on for the final 10 minutes, dived, but somehow the ball managed to squirm past him.
This was a great effort from a really young side that only featured Billy Witham, Alex Bodean and Matty Powell from the first team squad. However, we must learn to remain switched on for the full 90 minutes!

Kentish Town fc res 3-5 Chertsey Town fc res.
The reserves had 2 challenges to cope with weds night, the 1st was the london traffic as we battled to get to north west londons barnet copthall stadium and the 2nd was to cope with a fired up kentish town outfit whos plan was to give us no time on the ball throughout, so patient focused football was needed, we matched kentish enthusiasm and with senior players moses spencer, billy witham who both played an hour helped settle the ship. also andy crossley, rob carr and alex bodea had run outs, but it was to be chertsey towns youngsters that took the limelight with 1st half charlie postance and josh wyatt causing havoc up front and charlie bagging 2 goals with josh coming close, at the back billy roach kept the lively winger quite and jack leighton solid at centre back HT 1-2 up.
2nd half saw kentish town start as in the first high tempo and full of enthusiasm and smashed in a equalizer early on much to the delight of there players, chertsey didnt panic though and soon after tricky rob carr was on the score sheet 2-3. we won a corner after that and young reuban who came on at centre back on the hour for moses spencer guided the ball in from a header, we will never call him 50p head again! 2-4. kentish were tiring but somehow forced one more attack to score again to make things interesting but charlie postance who worked fantastically all night bagged his hatrick!.
A good night for chertseys youngsters and valuable fitness for the first team squad members.

This Capital League fixture after two weeks of freezing conditions was ideal in getting the first team back to match speed, and it was just as well for the side showed rustiness in the first half despite taking an early lead.
John Pomroy headed us into a second minute advantage but might have done better soon after when breaking through with only the goalkeeper to beat. He elected a lob but did not executed it well enough for good effect.
Aylesbury enjoyed more of the possession in the first period but it was, in the main, defensive errors that allowed them to taken a 3-1 interval lead. The goals came on 15 minutes after a mix up on the back line, and 22 minutes from a unchallenged near post header.
The third came in the 35th but better constructed from a Aylesbury move through the middle that was finished off with a shot on the turn that just crept inside the post.
The second half was altogether a different affair. Aylesbury had chances but we dominated for most of the 45 minutes. A typical long distance Pomroy lob caught the home ‘keeper off his line put us back into contention on 52 minutes.
We had to wait for another half hour for the equaliser when Rob Carr won possession inside the Aylesbury penalty area, to feed the ball inside. It was then flicked on to Jordan Merriman who slotted it home from ten yards.
The winning goal game with only a minute remaining when a Steve Brown free kick fell for Billy Witham to fire in at close range.
